“Into the Heart of the Desert”
A Healing Adventure in the Southwest
2014 dates to be announced
Join us for a healing adventure to New Mexico as we explore the deeper meaning of the “Land of Enchantment”. We will visit sacred sites, hot springs, prehistoric cliff dwellings, rock art, red desert canyons and Native American medicine people as we celebrate the Earth and Her Wisdom. This region of great power and beauty is an area that the Natives say prayers are heard more clearly and songs sound sweeter. Gathering together with intention on this sacred land can be a gateway to the expanded consciousness we all need in order to see more clearly “a good way ahead”– both personally and collectively.
This trip will include a several day immersion experience in Chaco Canyon (above), home of the Anasazi, the “Ancient Ones” who left spectacular evidence of an advanced culture including archaeoastronomy, petroglyphs and the densest and most extensive collection of ancient ruins in the Southwest. We will be camping out at Chaco, doing day hikes to the ruins, and exploring this sacred area physically and spiritually, honoring the Spirits and tapping into the power of the land to fuel our personal and planetary visions.
Other highlights include meeting with a Mayan/Aztec/Apache medicine woman doing ceremony and exploring sacred sites, visits to Ojo Caliente hot springs and “El Santuario de Chimayo”, meeting with an Apache potter and medicine man, and a Navaho medicine man, amongst other unexpected surprises!
We hope that you can join us for this powerful, healing and fun adventure as we immerse ourselves in the beauty and sacredness of this land.
